This consultation process has now been concluded. The Governors at their meeting on 29th November 2011 considered all submissions from the consultation and as a result unanimously resolved to proceed with an application to the Diocesan Authorities for permission to move forward with an application to the Department for Education for a change to Academy status.. Further details are here.
Congratulations to
Louise Fernandes on winning first prize in a recent public speaking competition. See the Croydon Advertiser aricle on the event.
Well
done to all in maintaining our Customer Service Excellence status
(Charter Mark) following an external interim assessment that saw
ongoing accreditation with a compliance plus for using Best Practice.
Special thanks to Mrs Williams for taking the lead on this. Click to read the Assessors Report
CONGRATULATIONS to our Governors on gaining the highly regarded national Governors Mark which recognises the great service they give to the school
Eco Schools - Green Flag Awarded
Congratulations
and a big thank you to Debbie Lawless for all her work in achieving a
successful outcome to the external assessment of the school that saw us
gain the top Green Flag Eco Award. We are the first school in
Croydon to gain this accreditation and a great deal of this success is
also down to the children who met the assessor and did us proud,
demonstrating very strong ‘Green Credentials’. Special thanks
also to Karen Rodrigues who acted as the Governor representative to be
grilled by the assessor. A great result for all concerned.
