Fête 2007

On behalf of the school, and personally, I would like to record my thanks to the Friends association Committee for all of the hard work they do in support of the school. This is backed up by the support given to them by the parent body as a whole and the Governors and staff. The Friends wide ranging involvement in the school adds a very welcome dimension to the life of St James the Great.

I would express thanks also to everyone who has supported today's event which makes a major contribution to the fund raising efforts of the Friends. I hope everyone has an enjoyable day.

I would like to add my thanks to everyone who has helped in making this year's Summer Fete successful. To all our sponsors, advertisers and performers. To my fellow Committee members who have supported me in this huge fundraising event. They have given so much time over the past weeks ensuring that every task has been covered. To those parents who helped in advance, everyone here today (and I hope lots of you will be around to help with the clearing up!). Please do not underestimate my appreciation for all your help and support.
