Sex Education
Moral teaching according to the teachings of the Catholic Church is
given, along with information about sexual matters, including teaching
on matters of human love, the functions of the body and an understanding
of God's creative love as embodied in human reproduction. Sex education,
through the school's Education for Personal Relationships Programme,
is adjusted to the age of the children and develops as they grow older.
The programme includes a number of 'key messages' which are given to
children as they progress through the school. The policy document is
available for parents to view and parents will be consulted before any
possible policy changes.
