Assessment

All children are assessed as a continuous part of their education. Teachers' assessments are used to plan the next stages of learning.

Testing

In the Spring and Summer terms all Year 2 and Year 6 children throughout the country undertake Standard Assessment Tasks (SATs). We shall be giving parents the results of these tests as they become available.

Standard Assessment Task Results/Attendance Figures

Our school SAT results are above both national and local averages reflecting, we believe, the success of our home-school partnership. We also have an excellent record of pupil attendance. The statistics for both these areas are reported to Governors at their termly meetings and at the annual parents' meeting. Information on these areas will from time to time be included in our school newsletters, and is available to parents through the supplementary information supplied with this prospectus.
