Admissions Policy

General Arrangements for Admissions

Parents who make an initial enquiry to the school will be invited to visit the school and collect an application form and a copy of the admissions policy. At the time of such a visit the admissions policy, will be explained to the parent. Admission application forms, along with details and copies of the admissions policy will be supplied by post on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope from those making initial telephone enquiries but who decline to visit the school. Parents are welcome to approach the school with a view to registering their child's name for possible Nursery and/or Main School admission as soon as they wish.

Parents will be asked to return completed application forms to the school with originals or copies of birth and baptismal certificates. On receipt of the completed application forms, acknowledgement of their receipt will be issued and original certificates returned.

Applicants will be contacted closer to the date of proposed admission regarding the process leading to the allocation of available places. This will include arrangements for a discussion with the Governors. Applicants will be advised on a specified date following the discussion session as to the outcome of their application.

Successful applicants will then be provided with details of the admission procedure which will include a Home Visit (Nursery only), Parents Meeting, Pupil Pre-Admission Visits, Start Dates, etc.
