AGM 2000
Following is a copy of the Governors Annual Report on the affairs of the school together with the audited school income and expenditure account as prepared by the external auditors' for the period ended 31 March 2000. An agenda is attached with a copy of the minutes of the last AGM for formal presentation at the Annual Governors and Parents Meeting to be held on 16th November 2000 at 7.30 p.m.
The statutory purpose of the meeting is to enable parents to discuss:
- the report and how the governing body, the head and the LEA have discharged their functions in relation to the school;
- the school's aims and values;
- how pupils' spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development is to be promoted at the school;
- how the pupils are to be prepared for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life and citizenship;
- how the governing body is to promote the pupils' good behaviour, discipline and well-being.
